Yesterday, in les Saintes Maries de la Mer, we noticed people dining on a rooftop.
But beyond that brave couple, the rooftop of the church is a site we frequently see people. Many of them sit up there for quite a while, taking in the panoramic view. The crowd fascinated me, and so I joined them. For 3 euros, I bought access to the narrow, spiral staircase up to the roof top.

The roof is pretty steep. Going up isn't too tough, but coming down is a little scary. Most people were crawling down like a crab, but facing up, with their hands and feet beneath them.
