Today, we took another bicycle ride. It was a 3-hour tour of the salt pans at Salin d'Aigues Mortes. Many of the evaporative ponds were pink, We saw lots of flamingos, swans, shelducks, avocets, stilts, terns, herons, plovers, swifts, and swallows. We even got to climb up one of the giant salt mountains. It was a very interesting bike ride, a first visit for us, but we enjoyed it enough to think about returning next year.
