Taureaux (bulls) and more

This morning, we drove to Stes. Maries de la Mer again, and rented bikes to head north along the edge of the lagoon.  The bike shop was actually closed today, but we made a reservation yesterday, so they very kindly opened for 5 or 10 minutes, rented the bikes and gave us a phone number to call when we returned to town, then closed the shop for the day.  The round trip bike route was 36 km (about 22 miles).

We saw plenty of white horses and bulls along the way.

Back in town, the population has swelled with the Gitane pilgrimage for the celebration of Sara, their patron saint.  The town was alive with Gitane (aka Roma or Gypsy) families.

We never cease to be amazed at the things we see.  We saw several people using hoverboards, including one woman pushing her baby in a stroller while on a hoverboard.  And we saw several people pushing strollers that contained dogs.  One stroller container 3 yorkies.
