Springtime

In Paris!  Yes, we're back in Paris for a few days before we head south.  Last year, early May was warm, and early June was cold and very wet.  This year, early May is cold and damp.  The Seine isn't flooding like it was when we were here last June.

Today was a very gray day, (un gris jour).  As we were landing, we couldn't see anything out the windows until we were on the ground.

This afternoon, I've been out walking in drizzle.  I walked down to Notre Dame, and around the back to view the garden and the gargoyls.

And later, I was surprised to see a pair of sculpted figures guarding the entrance to a building from the second floor.
