Renting a car

Today was the first day that the car rental office was open.  So, we tried to call a taxi to take us to their office.  No taxis were available.  We went to a nearby taxi stand, and there were no taxis at the stand either.  We called 2 or 3 different companies, and they all referred back to the Radio Cab company that wasn't answering.

So we walked to the nearby tourist office, and they tried to call us a taxi.  Eventually, they were able to connect us with a driver who has a small Uber-like company.  He drove us to the rental office.

We left the office with a very new, fancy Peugeot.  We went shopping with it, then went swimming.  After lunch we tried to drive to a nearby shopping center and Bori's feet got all tangled up in the pedals.  So we headed back to the center of town, and the rental office.  Bori tried on a bunch of different cars, including an Alfa Romeo.  The only one that his feet fit inside without stepping on 2 pedals at once was an Opel, so now we are driving an Opel.

It doesn't seem that complicated, but this car is also about 2 feet shorter than the Peugeot, so it will be easier to get it in and out of our gated parking space.
