On our dives, we encounter lots of sea anemones. They are quite lovely in and of themselves, but they represent a complex habitat for a range of species, including some fish and crab species, and several species of cleaner shrimp.
Before I share photos of some of their inhabitants, I wanted to post some basic photos of giant anemones. They vary in color, from pink to lavender, yellow, chartreuse and white, and range from 6 to 12 inches across.
