Octopus

This season, we have encountered the common octopus on most of our dives.  This species gets up to about 24 inches. Sometimes we run into more than one on a dive.  They are always interesting to watch, because they are so graceful, and rapidly change color and shape.

These photos were taken at depths of 20 to 35 feet.
