Yes we see peacocks

Flounders that is.  The peacock flounder is the most common flounder that we encounter on and around Bonaire's reefs.  They have blue rosettes over the entire body, although sometimes the blue is quite pale. This fish can rapidly change color to blend in with its surroundings.  But they also sometimes bury under a thin layer of sand.  In which case, their eyes are practically the only thing that is visible.

These photos were taken at depths of 15 to 30 feet, and the flounder were 8 to 12 inches long.
