Orangespotted filefish

After chasing this species for years, somehow in 2 days, I was able to get 2 photos of orangespotted filefish.  This species is rather shy, and often seeks refuge under reef structures.  Their orange spots are not always easily visible, neither are the markings on the face.  They can easily pale or darken their color.

These fish were 5 to 6 inches long, and the species doesn't get much bigger.  The photos were taken at a depth of  about 25 feet.

The file (first dorsal spine) is down

The file is up on this fish
