When the wind is strong, it's usually a good idea to avoid walking along the river. Today was windy, so we went walking along narrow streets in the old part of town. They often bend around and provide protection from the wind. The buildings are hundreds of years old, and lovely to look at. And then at the top of the city sits the Roman arena, which is nearly 2000 years old.
First it pops into view at the end of the narrow streets, then the view opens wide to reveal an impressive structure.
