Market day is always an overload for the senses. This morning, I walked to a bakery just as all the vendors were setting up their booths. It was interesting to see them assemble all the infrastructure they need to sell their wares. Once the market opens, the streets quickly fill with all kinds of people: young and old, men and women, locals and tourists. This morning, I saw several long distance cyclists squeezing their bikes through the heart of the market.
The smells are amazing, but I can only share the sights. So here are a few photos from today.
