Today was our first Saturday Market of the season. It started out a bit chilly, so lots of people were wearing their puffy vests or jackets, but the day became quite pleasant by afternoon.
One of my favorite sightings was the hummingbird-sized, battery-operated birds that spin around at the fish mongers. Apparently, they keep flies away from the fresh seafood. This particular business had them flying in circles about every 4 feet.
And look at the face on this lovely fish.
After market, stopping for a coffee in a market-side cafe is very popular (beer and wine were also ordered by people near us).
Hope your spring is going well. Enjoy.
