After a damp, cloudy week, the sun finally managed to stick around long enough to really warm us today. Although strong winds seem to indicate active weather fronts nearby.
The big market day in Arles happens on Saturday, and a main boulevard is closed until 2PM to accommodate the market. We shopped early, then visited it later, at about 1:30, as it was being dis-assembled, a very orderly process.
Lots of merchandise, and lots of shoppers, some with dogs, and one goat (not for sale).

The cleanup often involves folding up the sides of a van (or trailer) and driving off. At other times, the merchandise has to be loaded into a truck, and the display cases hosed down.

Many of these vendors drive from town to town selling their wares at a different market every day.
