This morning, as we were entering the water to begin our dive, rain pelted us, but it was warm rain, and we were planning to get wet anyway. So, not a problem.
Over the years, I have been chasing rock beauties trying to photograph them. They usually flee as soon as they see me. Today, this one didn't seem to mind me at all.
Rock beauties are strikingly-colored (yellow and black, with blue lips) angelfish. Although the species grows up to 12 inches in length, this fish was only about 8 inches long. I encountered it a depth of about 35 feet. They are graceful swimmers, and always a delight to see.
