How to spend a day on vacation

This morning, we went to the local pool to swim for an hour.  Then after lunch, around mid-afternoon we headed out to scout restaurants for dinner.  We must have read at least 6 menus before trying to make a reservation for dinner.  But between reading the menus and making a reservation we stopped for cafe-au-lait in an outdoor cafe in the Place du Forum, to watch the various tour groups march past us.

The winner, based on menu, reviews, and proximity was right around the corner from our apartment.  It was Le Criquet (The Cricket), with outstanding food, that was both delicious and beautifully presented.

Our restaurant of choice

Artichoke hearts stuffed with goat cheese salad, the first course

Grilled squid, the main course
Great meal, we will be back
