A view out the window

First, I'll give you a glimpse of the roof tops of Paris.  These photos were taken out our hotel room. Very complicated masses of chimneys atop the roofs in the city!

At the other end of a 4-hour, high-speed train trip south, these photos were taken in the courtyard of our apartment in Arles.  They reflect the simpler, more colorful, warmer life style in the south.
