Longsnout butterflyfish

Of the 5 species of butterflyfish that occur in Bonaire, in my experience, the longsnout is fourth in abundance.  They occur  from 30 feet down to 200 feet, where they forage in dark reef recesses.  They act secretive, are usually solitary, and don't hang around for photo opportunities. This is the smallest of the local butterflyfish, not reaching 4 inches long.  These photos were taken at a depth of about 40 feet.
