French Angelfish
As adults, French angelfish have a rather elegant appearance. They swim around the reef, often in pairs. However, as juveniles they are hard working cleaner fish, that don't look much like the adults. When they lose their stripes, they stop cleaning. Although I don't have any photos of juveniles cleaning, I often see them working their cleaning stations as I swim or snorkel above them. The bottom photo is of a juvenile that was only about 1/2 inch long. The juvenile in the middle photo was about 3 inches long. The adult, in the top photo, was about a foot long.
