A couple of juveniles
Today we dove rather deep. I dropped down to 120 feet to view purple reeffish that a friend was pointing out. However, I didn't stay deep long enough to photograph the adults (3 to 4 inches). On my way up to shallower water, I encountered a juvenile purple reeffish (about 2 inches long), at about 80 feet (lower photo). We also had the luck of encountering both juvenile and adult yellowmouth grouper. Adults get up to about 2 1/2 feet. This strikingly-colored juvenile was about 6 inches (top photo).
