Musee d'Orsay

Yesterday we toured the Musee d'Orsay, the old train station that has been fabulously restored and which now houses a remarkable collection of modern art.  Unfortunately, we had to wait in line for quite a long time to buy tickets for entry.  We considered buying a museum pass if only to avoid waiting in the long lines, but somehow decided against it.  However, a musical group was playing close by, and it gave me time to photograph the rhinoceros statue from a couple of different angles.

We ate lunch in the 5th floor cafe, behind this huge clock.

Entertainment while you wait!

Photos are not allowed inside the museum, especially flash photos, but lots of people were taking photos on the sly.  I took a few shots (without flash) of the interior, and one of Bori next to a Rodin sculpture.

Adieu to Paris.  We are heading south tomorrow.
