Spotted cleaner shrimp

One of my favorite reef creatures is the spotted cleaner shrimp.  Although they are small, 3/4 to 1 inch long, they are quite lovely, and always fun to find.  They live in association with various sea anemones, and the anemone becomes their cleaning station.  To attract fish, the shrimp sway back and forth and wave their antennae.

These photos were taken at depths of 15 to 45 feet.  Giant anemones were their hosts.
