While pulling the drapes today, I discovered that we have a little house guest. It's a beautiful gecko lizard. We have encountered lots of them on the lanai, but this was the first one inside the house. He is about 3 inches long.
As I was trying to catch the gecko to release him outside, he sought refuge under some nearby gecko art.
I wasn't able to grab him today. He remains at large, reminding me that we are really the guests in his world.
