This morning we headed off to the Musee de L'Orangerie to view Claude Monet's water lilies again. Having just read a book detailing Monet's struggles painting these huge pieces, we really wanted to view them with a new perspective.
Two oval shaped rooms in the Orangerie are dedicated to the six foot-high paintings. Each features a different light condition from sunrise to sunset. Below, are the paintings in the first great oval room.
