Wednesday, market day

Although we occasionally shop in a grocery store, it is much more fun to mingle with the locals and view the beautiful food displayed at the weekly markets.  Arles has 2 market days, Wednesday and Saturday.  The Wednesday market runs along the eastern edge of the old walled city, along the ramparts, and down to the gates to the city, near Place Lamartine.
