Lots of rain has fallen here, and the artichokes seem to be quite happy.
My garden box is growing 8 varieties of greens and snow peas. The greens look like they will be fabulous in a couple of weeks. However, I will probably thin the plants and harvest a salad or two next week.
Elephant garlic is starting to form into cloves.
We have a few things blooming.
But of course, we will leaving all this behind next week, to enjoy spring time in the south of France. I hope to continue posting our adventures.

Spring

So here is what I have been harvesting.

Mussels in the shell, at their plumpest of the year. |
Steamed, plucked, and ready for vacuum-packing and into the freezer. To be smoked later. |
